Hello everyone, I am writing to let you know about Natalia’s support for Survival International’s new campaign. 22 years ago Angel María Torres and two other leaders of Colombia’s Arhuaco tribe were kidnapped, tortured and killed – their killers remain free until today. In an emotional video-interview Dilia, Angel María Torres’s widow, has spoken of the grief and despair of the last 22 years. Natalia was profoundly moved by Dilia’s story and supported our appeal with a voice-over in English and in Spanish: ’Dilia’s story of the loss of her husband touched me deeply, which is why I am supporting Survival’s campaign against impunity for crimes against Colombia’s indigenous people.’ I thought that you and other fans could be interested in Natalia’s involvement in Survival's campaign.
